A key element of Meraki Giving is our commitment to building meaningful relationships with the communities we work with. Travelling to Marancocha was an important contribution to understanding the specific needs of the community.  Although we live oceans apart, we share the same values.

We learned that Marancocha built the first road to their village in 2016, just two years before we met! Not being accessible was only one of the many challenges this community faced as they continue to grow their business.
